Patrick Robinson carted off after leg injury

The Saints defense is turning in its second straight strong performance against the Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon, but they’ll need to continue the task without cornerback Patrick Robinson for the rest of the day.

Robinson was carted off the field in Tampa after going down while being blocked on a running play. The cart came out as quickly as we can remember any cart appearing on the field and the Saints medical staff was quick to put an air-cast around the leg during the short wait for assistance getting off the field.

Robinson had to leave last week’s win over the Falcons with a foot injury, making it two straight weeks that New Orleans has been thinned out in the secondary. It hasn’t impacted them thus far as Cam Jordan forced Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman to fumble on a sack shortly after Robinson left the game.

It’s still 10-7 Saints with 11 minutes to play in the third quarter.

He sucks anyway, he should of been cut a long time ago if you ask me. The same for Mark Ingram, Zach strief and alot of other players. We need to rebuild. I hope our first round pick next year is invested into a good offensive lineman.

I’m sad for P-Rob, this might be the last straw for him with the Saints.

Players I expect gone next season: Joe Morgan, Mark Ingram, Kenyon Coleman, Will Smith, Roman Harper, Patrick Robinson, Jonathan Vilma, and Malcolm Jenkins. In a perfect world, Jabari Greer is on that list too.

Oh yeah, throw in Tom Johnson too.

Kujo go back to Atlanta. Sean Payton doesn’t need your advice.
