Ray Rice hobbles to locker room with hip injury

A fumble earlier might not be the worst thing that happens to Ravens running back Ray Rice.

Rice just hobbled off the field and straight into the locker room with a left hip injury, which would be a blow for a Ravens offense that doesn’t need it.

The Ravens lead 14-6, thanks to a third-quarter drive capped by a Bernard Pierce touchdown and a touchdown pass from Joe Flacco to Marlon Brown.

But while Pierce is a solid option, losing a versatile option like Rice is something they can ill afford, given their struggles to keep tight ends and receivers on the field.

Looks like a bad season in the making for Ravens and Steelers. Get well Rice, unfortunately you just tanked my fantasy team.

And the troubles pile up for the Ravens. There is no way on earth flacco can carry this team. I smell a 4-12 season.

Bernard Pierce can carry the load while Rice gets healthy.

Scoobs, cheering injuries and players celebrating a sack/tackle for loss while being blown out are my biggest pet peeves about football. Fans need to show respect and players just need to do their jobs without showboating.

couldnt agree more. i get that football is a very emotional game. but time and place for everything. and seeing player after player get carted off just sucks
