Weather issues looming in Seattle

Week One opened on NBC with a weather delay in Denver.  Week Two’s Sunday night game could commence with a weather delay in Seattle.

As pointed out by our friends at The Weather Channel, a “special weather statement” has been issued for the area, with thunderstorms in the forecast into the evening.

“People engaged in outdoor activities should stay alert to the rapidly changing weather conditions,” the statement reads.

The hour-by-hour forecast shows scattered thunderstorms throughout game time, yielding to a steady rain.

Coverage begins on NBC at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Just like last year! Go HAWKS!

Good news for Seahawks fans who get to booze it up in the parking lot a little longer before getting arrested for harassing an undercover cop dressed in 49ers gear.

For the safety of the players and the fans Goodell should go ahead and cancel this matchup. Maybe we can get in the game next time gals, safety first.

As a Niners fan I’m nervous about this game for sure. The thing I hate about this is its only week 2. If we win our fans will act like we are the greatest. If the Seahawks win their fans will act like they won the superbowl. I admit both teams have very annoying fans. I’m excited about this game and I’m sure both teams will meet 3 times this year. Enjoy the game!

Don’t make me regret starting Wilson over Alex Smith, nature!

Oh, they’re mistaking the Legion of Boom for a thunderstorm.

    Understandable, happens all the time.

Can’t they just close the dome?

  9. seahawksbmx says: Sep 15, 2013 3:22 PM

Since the outdoor stadium opened in ’02, Seahawks are 17-4 there in games with rain or snow with avg. margin of victory being about 12 points. In dry games, they are 42-25 with avg. margin of victory about 5 points. Hopefully no lightning delays, but bring on that rain.

    @torvic49er,

What’s with Torvic49er and these uncouth 49er fans? Didn’t they go to school? How is it that they are not able to write even simple sentences in the English language?

One good thing about having a short QB is that there is no way he will get struck by lightning.

  23. josephpete says: Sep 15, 2013 4:46 PM

A power outage would cut the “12 woman” noise way, way down as the PA system couldn’t do what Carroll wants it to…

Civil and humble. Quite refreshing my friend. All we see are meatheaded comments on this site, if you’re ever in Seattle, dinner and drinks are on me.
