Branden Albert misses practice, expected to play Thursday

Chiefs left tackle Branden Albert was able to finish yesterday’s game with a shoulder injury, but he got Monday off.

The Chiefs are on a short week in advance of Thursday’s trip to Philadelphia, and Albert was held out of practice because of a sprained AC joint in his shoulder.

“He’s a little sore today,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said, via Randy Covitz of the Kansas City Star. “But I think he’ll be OK.”

Tight end Anthony Fasano (ankle) and cornerback Brandon Flowers (knee) were held out of practice as well, but Reid indicated he was hopeful they’d play against the Eagles as well.

Linebacker James-Michael Johnson (neck) and Travis Kelce (knee) were also missing from today’s Chiefs practice, according to the injury report submitted to the league.

2-0 Chiefs on the way to FILTHadelphia . Mr.Andy Reid is gonna have a nice revenge smile on his face after leaving that cesspool 3-0 and heading home to 1 Arrowhead Drive
I can hear the whining and complaining already from the shallow, simpleton, unappreciative Eagle “fans”.
” Fire Gimmicky Chip, we want Andy back”

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Ya. Could’ve been way worse…like a QB that’s a borderline backup like Carr

Albert has shown some toughness so far this year. He had to leave both games, but came back in ASAP. Smith was under a lot more pressure when Albert wasn’t playing. He was also giving a pretty emotionally-charged speech to his offensive teammates in the second half yesterday on the sideline. Doesn’t look like someone who is disgruntled to me.

Cool it Chiefs fan, it has been two weeks into the season and you’ve only beaten one semi-legitimate team. While I think Andy will do well with the Chiefs, I think the change of scenery was just something necessary.

You’re probably right about the change of scenery. But after 30 years of ups & downs with the Chiefs, what I understand about the fans here is…..We show respect to EVERYONE who deserve it! Not saying it was you, but from Day 1 your fans were creeping our site and bashing our new coach….of course we fought back!! After are last few years under GM Pioli, we’d kill for the record he had in Philly! You complained about losing Division Championship games and his wisdom got us 1 playoff game. If/when Andy gets us in the playoffs, he’ll be a God here!!!

Remember in due time Andy will coach all those good players then they will leave. After that he will draft round pegs for square holes and leave you high and dry
