Broncos sign tackle Chris Clark to an extension

The Broncos are confident that starting left tackle Ryan Clady is going to be fine after last night’s foot injury.

And now they’ve added a little security to his backup, as well.

The agent for backup tackle Chris Clark just tweeted that his client agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Broncos.

Clark was working on his $1.323 million restricted tender, so the new deal should carry him through the 2015 season. The former undrafted rookie latched on with the Broncos after being cut by the Buccaneers and hanging around the Vikings practice squad.

A guy who was cut by both the Bucs and Vikings, and this is the new personal protector of Mannings blind side.

    Great.
