On Monday, we reported that Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady could miss at least a few weeks with a Lisfranc sprain.

Those few weeks could be at least eight.

Per a league source, the Broncos are still evaluating their options for Clady. Those options include placing Clady on short-term injured reserve.

If that happens, Clady would not be able to practice for six weeks or play for eight. Thus, the sooner they put him on short-term IR, the better.

Chris Clark will be the first guy to replace Clady, who has never missed a game in five-plus NFL seasons.
