Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene missed Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans with a knee injury suffered in their season opening win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

According to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean, Greene had arthroscopic surgery Monday on his injured knee. Greene has not practiced since suffering the injury last week.

Greene “could be sidelined for a week or so,” per Wyatt. It may even be a little longer than that before Greene is able to get back for the Titans. Jackie Battle filled in as the backup to Chris Johnson against the Texans on Sunday. He carried six times for 13 yards.

Greene ran for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns last season with the New York Jets.
