Bush currently is 50-50 to play on Sunday

Bush Reuters

As Lions running back Reggie Bush tries to prove that he can be a durable and consistent every-down back, a fairly stiff test of his ability to suit up and play is looming.

Bush didn’t practice on Wednesday due to a knee injury suffered when he took a helmet to the joint on Sunday at Arizona.  Per a league source, Bush currently has a 50-50 chance to play on Sunday against the Redskins in D.C.

The Lions need Bush; he instantly diversified the offense in Week One.  Without him, Joique Bell will see more opportunities as the Lions try to seize their chance to win in Washington (OK, Maryland) for the first time ever.

Still, without No. 21 it will be even harder to snap an 0-21 road streak against the Redskins, with Detroit’s last win coming in 1935 at Boston.

Joique Bell will have a break out game. Bush will reaggravate his injury and may risk his season or playing time

Givin the fact that Washington has no defense the lions should rest bush and have him ready for Chicago. Lions 2-1 after this week.

Well I predicted that injuries would prevent Bush from being able to complete a full 16 game season this year, and Week 1 took a toll and Week 2 doubled down on that toll. Hopefully he can heal up soon and get lucky out there to be usable late into the season. It’s a tough bet to win cause Bush is never going to shy away from contact. You can only get blasted so many times before something is going to break.

Trent Richardson for a first round draft pick??? Hell, the Lions will have a lower pick than the Colts will!!! Bush hasn’t finished a game yet and he certainly isn’t going to finish the season.

We need another WR…if Bush is out, the defense just has to worry about Calvin. Hopefully Broyles is back soon. This team is too good to not have a decent season…

Sit him for a week. Get ready for Chicago.

We need a coaching staff too – one that teaches players “urgency” and how to finish….

Sit Bush and let him heal. While we’re at it, sit Pettigrew, Bentley, Schwartz, Linehan……..

I told you all Reggie Bush missed several games last year with the Dolphins. He’s doesn’t stay sound very long, so get ready for overworking him, and have him out the game. The first week he was all over the place, and he can’t do it anymore.

Will need him. Skins snap out of it. Attack is on.

Doesn’t matter if Bush sits or plays (even though I like him and hope he plays!). Matt Stafford and whomever he throws to will get it done this week. I doubted you at first bro, but I have to admit. You’re better than most give you credit for. You OWN this week!

    If Bush doesn’t play it’s 0-22.
