Manti Te’o returns to the practice field, Butler doesn’t

The Chargers got a real boost to their defense Wednesday, as linebacker Manti Te’o returned to the practice field.

According to Michael Gehlken on U-T San Diego, Te’o hadn’t worked with teammates since an Aug. 8 foot injury, but they expected him back today.

The early returns on the second-round pick were good, but his lack of preseason action will be something he has to overcome.

Bront Bird started the opener and Reggie Walker last week, but putting Te’o next to Donald Butler inside could potentially give the Chargers a solid interior.

But Butler isn’t practicing today, with an undisclosed injury from the Eagles game.

The Chargers need Te’o. There are a lot of pretty ladies in San Diego. Maybe Manti will find himself a real girlfriend there?

Is it a real practice field or a fake practice field?

The hoax was stupid on T’eo’s part, but people still using fake this imaginary that to joke about T’eo today has got like zero originality or creativity lol. This kid will be a solid player for the Chargers.

    To southernpatriots :

I am guessing that Manti’s chances are a lot better than Aaron’s chances.

From all the letters he has received from ladies, I don’t think that is his problem.

How long until he commits Seaucide?

The fake girlfriend comments are not funny anymore. And on top of that making a reference to Seau committing suicide is wrong in so many ways. Xgarcia you need a soul dude.

Te’o will be a solid player and will contribute to a solid D. Can’t wait to see him out there.

Yeah, about as good as he was on the Domers when they played Bama. Was not seen, was not heard, contributed toward their obliteration.

  14. 619sdfan4life says: Sep 18, 2013 5:30 PM

Yeah cause the 7 int’s and leading the team in tackles has nothing to do with his ability. You sound like all the other idiots who base Te’os ability off of the Natl Championship game. Get over kid. That was one game. Look at his body of work.

  15. alligatorsnapper says: Sep 18, 2013 7:22 PM

Old man. I am basing it upon the crap opponents he played against, when it really counted, he was useless.

  16. hatesycophants says: Sep 18, 2013 7:48 PM

He is never going to be able to live it down no matter how unoriginal you think references to the situation are. This idiot is never going to have an impact. A product of typical ND hype.
