The Panthers, who have some injury concerns in the secondary, are re-signing cornerback Drayton Florence, a league source told PFT on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old Florence spent the bulk of the offseason and preseason with Carolina. The Panthers signed him in March but let him go on August 31.

Florence (6-0, 200) appeared in eight games (three starts) for Detroit in 2012, notching 19 tackles and intercepting one pass. He has made 99 career regular-season starts since entering the NFL in 2003.
