The Dolphins kicked off their practice week on Tuesday without defensive tackle Paul Soliai.

Soliai was forced out of the win over the Colts with a knee injury and indications after the game were that the injury could lead him to miss the Week Three date with the Falcons as well. Coach Joe Philbin isn’t saying whether it will or not at this point in the week, but he’s comfortable going with Jared Odrick and Randy Starks should Soliai remain out.

“We’ll see how the week unfolds,” Philbin said, via Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald. “I’m confident we’ll have good defensive line depth on the field on Sunday.”

The Dolphins signed a pair of defensive tackles -- Isaako Aaitui and Al Lapuaho -- to the practice squad on Tuesday, a sign that they feel there’s a good chance that they’ll need to bolster that depth because Soliai isn’t going to be active.

Safety Chris Clemons also missed practice with an undisclosed injury. Cornerbacks Will Davis, Dimitri Patterson and Jamar Taylor all practiced after missing Sunday’s victory, however.
