Roddy White, Sam Baker don’t practice for Falcons

The Falcons offense was without two of their starters at practice on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Roddy White and left tackle Sam Baker were both on the sideline when the Falcons got started on their preparation for Sunday afternoon’s game in Miami.

White’s still being bothered by the sprained ankle that’s been plaguing him for more than a month. White has played in each of the first two Falcons games and was on the field for a little more than half the snaps in the Week Two victory over the Rams. He’s clearly limited, though, and the Falcons will likely continue to keep him out of practice if the intent is to have him active on Sundays.

Baker was questionable for last week’s game with a knee injury, but, like White, he was able to play in the game. Baker, again like White, hasn’t looked 100 percent to this point in the season, something that is less than ideal for a player at such an important position on the line.

With linebacker Sean Weatherspoon going on injured reserve with the ability to return and defensive end Kroy Biermann on the season-ending variety, the Falcons are dealing with injury issues on both sides of the ball.

Somewhere in between Roddy, MJD and Trent Richardson is my terrible fantasy team.

Roddy is actually hurting the team by insisting on playing. Every DB knows he is limited. Mike Smith is doing a disservice to his team by not sitting him till he is at least 85%

But this is why the Falcons will not be in the big game anytime soon…….selfish players, and a clueless coach

The good news just keeps coming. The Falcons might actually lose to the Dolphins. I can’t believe I have to come to terms with that.

He was certainly fine while out Monday night at STK in Atlanta with Julio Jones.

If ATL were a car, someone just flattened a couple tires and keyed the f*** out of it.
