A dislocated middle finger didn’t keep Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks from practicing on Wednesday or Thursday. He didn’t practice Friday, but for reasons unrelated to his finger.
Per multiple reports, the team says Nicks missed practice for personal reasons.
We’ve confirmed that he indeed missed practice for personal reasons, but we’ve yet to determine what the specific reasons were. (Ergo the term “personal.”)
Nicks is fully expected to play on Sunday when the Giants return to his hometown of Charlotte -- a city in which many think Hakeem will be personally residing in 2014.
