Manti Te’o doubtful, Donald Butler questionable for Chargers

When Manti Te’o returned to practice for the first time in more than a month on Wednesday, it looked like he would have a chance to make his NFL debut against the Titans on Sunday.

Te’o, who has been battling a foot injury, does have a chance, but it isn’t a very good one. The Chargers have listed him as doubtful for the game on Sunday, which suggests that a few days of limited practice weren’t enough to get Te’o into good enough shape to make it into the lineup.

There’s a chance the Chargers could be even thinner at inside linebacker. Donald Butler is listed as questionable with a groin injury, but things appear to be trending in the right direction for him to be in the lineup as he was a full participant in practice after being limited on Thursday and not practicing at all on Wednesday.

Tackle D.J. Fluker is questionable after suffering a concussion in practice this week. Fluker did not practice either of the last two days and would need to receive clearance from an independent neurologist in order to play in Week Three.

Starting to feel sorry for Te’o. Only way to make the jokes stop is to prove he can play, but he just never seems to be healthy.

3 Weeks in and a #1 pick is a no show? Not a single mention of the “BUST” word?

Didn’t this same site have 3 articles saying Dion Jordan was a bust even before play started and he actually played in both games?

The only way Te’o will ever make a Super Bowl is if he marries Ryan Seacrest at halftime.

Sucks for SD fans for their team to pick a guy based only on his imagined worth, not to mention other imagined phenomen. And now he’s not even playing, the Charger front office deserves to be a laughingstock,

All the T’eo jokes are so funny… It’s like I never heard them before. Probably all loser Raider fans. GO back to your black hole.

3 games into his first year and hasn’t played a down of football because of an injury and you losers are all calling him a bust. This isn’t Jamarcus Russell.
