Bears jump out to 10-0 lead after turnover

Chicago Bears v Pittsbugh Steelers Getty Images

The Steelers’ problems on offense have been pervasive, and well-documented.

And the Bears aren’t wasting any time making them pay for it.

Chicago took a 10-0 lead on Matt Forte’s touchdown run, after a Ben Roethlisberger fumble gave them a short field.

Roethlisberger lost the ball on a blitz by Bears linebacker D.J. Williams, and the Bears scored four plays later.

For the Steelers to have a chance, Roethlisberger has to be sharp, and he’s far from it early on.

That Bears O-line is looking MUCH better than last year, on another note the Steelers are awful.

With all the talk about how Cutler is going to get along with Trestman, Forte is quietly making himself an MVP candidate

  3. vgferenzi says: Sep 22, 2013 9:07 PM

Did the Bears just score three TDs on one drive?

Sixty minutes in the game. Let’s wait for the clock to read 0:00 in the 4th before the Bears are declared the winners.

I’s embarrassing that the NFL featured game on Sunday night would have the Steelers. They were a bad team last year and they are bad team this year.

  32. arlingtonsynn says: Sep 22, 2013 9:52 PM

What on earth did Ben do to his offensive line. It’s almost like they are trying to get him killed.

It’s like they all have teenage daughters or something.

  33. realitycheckbaby says: Sep 22, 2013 9:58 PM

    I missed it.

    Punter being decked?

Pick being run back for a TD?

I thought the Steelers would at least put up a fight at home.

    Guess not.

  34. chi01town says: Sep 22, 2013 10:13 PM

    3-0 Chicago Bears!!
@beerbratscheese now who’s the dummie. exactly what I told you would happen. and green bay are 1-2. this is 2013 NOT LAST SEASON or 2 years ago. NOBODY’S laying down for the packers. Rodgers, Eli, and Freakyburger all have the same problem NO O-LINE. Chicago has fixed that problem.

  35. filthymcnasty1 says: Sep 22, 2013 10:17 PM

The Bears are once again looking like September juggernauts. Haven’t we seen this movie before?

    arlingtonsynn for the win!

  37. realitycheckbaby says: Sep 22, 2013 10:34 PM

    Wow.

Chicago has a chance to go 3-0.

Against teams with a combined record of 2-7.

    Superbowl anyone?

You should hide from me… NOW! to late. the packers O-line sucks thats why Rodgers and the pillsbury
dough coach was crying on the sidelines. the North has a new owner his name is CUTLER!! 3-0

Chicago beat Cinci and Cinci beat the Packers. Significant?

  42. steel2372 says: Sep 23, 2013 7:38 AM

I agree with Deb we have too much talent to be playing like this. Yes we lost quite a few great players the last two years. Someone has to go. Haley in my opinion needs to go. Tomlin was winning before he got here. The offensive line is in shambles. I would leave Beachum in there over Gilbert and we probably should start looking for a real starting left tackle. We will get this thing turned around but we are not going to be making the playoffs this year
