Dolphins take advantage of turnover to tie Falcons

Osi Umenyiora, Ryan Tannehill AP

It doesn’t look like much on the stat sheet, but the Dolphins have hung around and hung around, and now they’re tied with the Falcons heading into the fourth quarter.

Taking advantage of a fumbled punt by Falcons return man Harry Douglass, the Dolphins just tied it 20-20 with Ryan Tannehill hitting Brian Hartline for an 18-yard touchdown.

Tannehill has fumbled and thrown a pick, but he’s kept his team in position, and now they’ve got a chance to stay undefeated and tied atop the AFC East.

    I’ll believe it when I see it — they’ve still got their work cut out for them.

    Respect ? forget about it. The Dolphins are the Republicans of the NFL and like the ‘Pubs , they’ll always be a lot better than anybody wants to give them credit for , in the press , at least.

    Dolphin teams of the last 3 years would’ve found ways to lose these 3 games so far. I am so pumped about how they are playing so far this year. People are stepping up and making plays and the progress of Tannehill is undeniable. Love my Phins!

    @craniator

    After reading your take a second time, I take it your saying the Dolphins won’t get any respect from the media no matter how successful they are. If so, you’re correct.
