Panthers throttling Giants 17-0 at halftime

Cam Newton AP

In any other stadium, you’d assume the home team is ready to cruise with a 17-0 halftime lead.

But the Panthers have built a reputation for making such games interesting, so there’s no reason for them to think they’re anywhere near safe.

They’re frankly pummeling the Giants in every way, limiting them to 18 yards and two first downs. The Panthers have six sacks at halftime, with Greg Hardy collecting three of those.

They’re playing cleanly on the other side of the ball as well, as Cam Newton capped a late drive with a touchdown pass to Brandon LaFell for the three-score margin.

The Giants continue to shoot themselves in the foot, with a missed field goal, and a David Wilson touchdown taken off the board because of a penalty.

They’ve also lost fullback Henry Hynoski for the rest of the game with a shoulder injury, such that they’re going to be in a power-running mode the rest of the way.

Isn’t David Wilson Rotoworld’s “super back”? He is averaging about 1.5 ypc this season. Who pays those guys?

    Gilbride should be fired immediately.

However, not sure how the Skins troll can talk when you’re 0-3 also.

Carolina is a good team. Gave the flocking Seahawks a harder time than SF did.

Offsides on a punt to give the ball back! How sad.

The Jaguars would have beaten us today. You’re still about to be 1-3 next week. How does that feel?

That O-line might as well not even be there. And the defense can only do so much when their on the field 90% of the time.

Time to hide behind the two championships

Giants are a joke across the board, hahaha, disgrace to the city, lamenting the importance of good LB corps. Perry should be signing up for food stamps anytime now. I love the Giants but you look soft, like Bounty soft.

No hiding here, we are disgraceful and weak. But Panthers fans need to sit down and realize they are still terrible.

Considering the Panthers on are on bye week, I don’t think 1-3 can’t be done. Ignore facts, keep making a fool of yourself.

There are a lot of your type out here, arguing semantics and ignoring the point. You will be 1-3 after your NEXT GAME, is that more succinct for you?
