Blaine Gabbert’s riding to the rescue for Jaguars

You want the good news, or the bad news? Frankly, we’re not sure which this is.

According to Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union, Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert is cleared to return this week, per coach Gus Bradley.

Gabbert got the last of the 15 stitches out of the back of his hand prior to Sunday’s 45-17 loss to the Seahawks, watching Chad Henne lead them to double-digit points for the first time this season.

The Jaguars have gone to great lengths to make sure everyone knows Gabbert’s the guy, so now he’ll have a chance against the Colts to prove he deserves it.

Blaine Gabbert is riding to the rescue?

Hahaha! I couldn’t say that with a straight face! 😄

Patience. Gabbert is the guy. Bradley is the guy. Caldwell is the guy. It’ll all come together. Jedd Fisch might not be the guy, but they’re stuck with him for this year at least.

thegreatgabbert…you’ve got to be kidding me! the only decent player on that entire team is Cecil Shorts III and maybe Blackmon if he wasnt such a headcase.

Hearing this must be most comforting for Jags fans.

I was at the game yesterday, and was actually impressed with Henne. He often fired the ball into places where it looked like no play was possible, and the plays got made anyway. When he had open receivers, he found them. It just didn’t happen often enough, and he was running for his life a lot.

It would be better news for J’ville if a couple of interior linemen were joining the team, because that seems to be their weakest offensive link.

Jags are a mess. Even Tebow doesn’t want to play there now.

Seriously, why not just sign Tebow at this point? It can’t get any worse.

Can we just relegate the Jags to the CFL and promote the Stampeders or Argonauts?

Adios for any hope at Cecil Shorts or MJD of having fantasy value until Gabbert goes out again.

Shorts is Garbage Time. Nothing else.

There will be no cleansing until Gabbert is escorted from the building, with his fanboy in tow.
