The Giants’ offensive line was battered yesterday, which makes it no surprise they’re bruised today.

After a 38-0 loss to the Panthers which included seven sacks, the Giants line is showing the wear.

According to Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger, center David Baas (neck) and guard Chris Snee (hip) had MRIs today.

Both sat out the final five plays of yesterday’s rout, and Giants coach Tom Coughlin admitted the pair had “some issues.”

Asked if that meant changes were coming, Coughlin replied: “I don’t know, I hope not but we’ll see, there are things that have to be looked at.”

Injuries would explain the poor play in part, but the Giants got caught by a team with an excellent defensive line, which was motivated to avoid an 0-3 start as well.
