It was a busy Sunday all over the NFL, with the two teams that bill themselves as being from New York in the thick of the action.

The Giants were humiliated by the Panthers 38-0 to drop to 0-3 on the season, a record that accurately reflects how miserable their performance has been in all three phases of the game. The Jets, meanwhile, improved to 2-1 with a 27-20 win over the Bills that featured plenty of mistakes from the team widely perceived to be the problem child at MetLife Stadium along with a stirring performance by the defense and the reemergence of Santonio Holmes as a big play threat.

Bob Glauber of Newsday will join Mike Florio on Monday’s edition of PFT Live to talk about both those teams and where things are headed for them in Week Four and beyond. We’ll also be covering plenty of things involving teams from the rest of the country as well as we look back on another busy Sunday.

  1. That “bill themselves from New York”???

    Six miles from Times Square.

Those who say that are expectedly uninformed with the political wall the Jets hit in wanting to stay in New York.

By the way, there are condo apartments in New York that are more expensive than the land most NFL stadia sit on.

  2. When you walk into the stadium with ticket in hand and look to the right, you see the Empire State Building. This is such a non-issue. It’s NY, even though it’s technically in NJ. Nobody from here cares. You drive over the bridge and 5 minutes later you’re at the stadium.
