In a move that adds to their safety and special-teams coverage depth, the Ravens have been awarded former Bengals safety Jeromy Miles on waivers, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reported Monday.
A fourth-year pro, Miles was credited with 15 tackles on special teams and defense in 2012, according to statistics kept by the Bengals. He also had 15 special-teams stops in 2011.
The Bengals waived Miles on Saturday.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens also waived rookie safety Brynden Trawick on Monday in addition to bringing in Miles.
