Former second-rounder Tyrell Johnson arrested

Former Vikings and Lions safety Tyrell Johnson is still trying to make his mark in the NFL, and spent part of the weekend making his mark on a wall in Miami.

According to the Miami New Times, Johnson was arrested on Miami Beach over the weekend for urinating in public and resisting arrest without violence.

Officers apparently told him to put his hands on the wall (though there’s a valid reason he might not have), and he pulled away when they attempted to take him into custody (hopefully he was finished).

Johnson, a former second-round pick, worked out for the Buccaneers recently after being released by the Lions in final cuts.

We can safely say that TJ will not sniff a locker room in the near future.

If you’re beaten out by Jamarca Sanford and get cut from the Lions secondary, your career is probably over.
