Cowboys DE Anthony Spencer will have micro-fracture surgery, which will end his 2013 season. This is a devastating blow to his season and potentially his career.

Season ending injury? His season never even began and where was the talk about his knee injury when his agent was trying to get Jerry to sign Spencer long term?

Interesting that Spencer had his most productive season in 2012 then tried to get paid. Now this injury pops up suddenly.

dallascowboysdisingthereal…come on now, thats a pretty ignorant statement. Spencer played the last year of his rookie deal and didnt put up big numbers at all, got franchised and then put up his best season. So yes, when he had the one yeaer deal, he put up huge numbers ( remember, Spencer is a run stopping OLD/DE, not a pash rusher ) but dont act like he only put the numbers up to get paid, in that case you would have seen the big numbers in the last year of his rookie deal as well.
