C.J. Spiller and Mario Williams say they’re doing fine

The Bills won’t be getting all of their players currently battling injuries into the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Ravens, but running back C.J. Spiller and defensive end Mario Williams both say that they’re planning to be on the field.

Spiller was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, two days after he said thought he would be fine to play after leaving the loss to the Jets with an injury to his quadriceps. After the session, Spiller said he wanted to see how it responded to a full day’s work but that he answered his biggest questions about how he would be able to hold up.

“The biggest thing, I wasn’t hesitant,” Spiller said, via Tim Graham of the Buffalo News. “That was really going to be my biggest mental hurdle, if I was going to be hesitant on my cut, and I wasn’t. I was able to push off it. Still some soreness in it, not completely where I want it to be. But I think by Sunday it’ll be completely gone.”

Williams did not participate in practice as a result of an ankle injury he suffered early in the Jets game. Williams was able to play through it for the entire game and feels confident that he’s going to be able to do the same in Week Four.

“Definitely going to be ready. I’m not even worrying about that,” Williams said, via Mike Rodak of ESPN.com.

Cornerback Leodis McKelvin didn’t practice with the hamstring injury that knocked him out against the Jets and defensive tackle Kyle Williams was also held out for what the team called a rest day.

That’s good news. But the team won’t win with Justin Rodgers at cornerback. Not against Flacco.

Unlike some teams, the Steelers know how to finish. We’re currently looking at a 10-6 season. Our persistence is legendary and we have six rings to prove it.

Well CJ. Seeing how you have lost carries to Fred Jackson all year and the fact you have scored 13 pts total in 3 weeks for fantasy owners would prob say different…if you ain’t struggling then I don’t know what you call what your doing. Biggest fantasy bust all year.

Unfortunately for the Bills its irrelevant if McKelvin doesnt play…which is also something I never though anyone anywhere would say. Hard truth though when Justin Rodgers is a starter if hes out.

They think they’re feeling good now? That’s nothing compared to how good they’ll feel Sunday around 4pm.
