Chris Snee misses practice, due to problem with other hip

Giants guard Chris Snee, the son-in-law of coach Tom Coughlin, has been struggling.

Many thought the poor performance traces to the hip on which Snee had surgery in the offseason.  His father-in-law told reporters on Wednesday that Snee is actually having trouble with the other hip.

The hip that wasn’t operated on is sufficiently bad to have kept Snee out of practice on Wednesday.

Also not practicing on the offensive line was center David Baas, who has a neck injury.

Coughlin categorized both players as day-to-day.  Without a competent corps of blockers, Eli Manning’s football days could be numbered.

Eli should get well acquainted with Justin Houston, Dontaei Poe, and Tamba Hali this weekend. If I were the Giants I’d run the clock, hope the Chiefs offense struggles and hope to pull out an old school 9-6 victory.

Eli is going to die before the season is over

After this season, if not before, Snee, Baas and their buddy Diehl will all be referred to as “former” Giants. Snee and Diehl were great Giants but their time is over. Baas was one of Reese’s worst FA signings.

Save Eli. Sacrifice Curtis Painter so Eli can live to play another day

Over or under 7.5 sacks for the Chiefs this week? Thumbs up for over, thumbs down for under

Giants should use a two TE set the whole game and keep them both in to block.
