It appears Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald’s hamstring injury is a thing of the past.
Fitzgerald was a full participant at practice on Wednesday as the Cardinals began their preparation for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers. Fitzgerald has been bothered by the injury for the last few weeks and was forced out of the Week Two win over the Lions as a result. He practiced as a limited participant last Friday after missing practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. He caught five passes for 64 yards in last weekend’s 31-7 loss to the Saints.
With Fitzgerald doing everything on Wednesday, he should be at full speed for Sunday. That should make for an entertaining matchup with Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Darren Urban of the Cardinals website reports that defensive tackle Dan Williams will not play this week after his father was killed in a car accident last weekend. Safety Rashad Johnson sat out of practice with his recently altered left hand bandaged and covered in plastic to protect it from a rainy day and running back Rashard Mendenhall, who played in Week Four, remained limited by a toe injury.
