It’s been a rough first half for Rams cornerback Cortland Finnegan.

Burned by 49ers receiver Anquan Boldin for a long gain on the only touchdown drive of the game, Finnegan has now exited with a thigh injury.

According to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Finnegan is questionable to return.

Hearing from Mayock about his total confusion on that simple last replay was really an enjoyable experience. And gee whiz did the network sure do a terrible job of pointing out to Mayock what was happening on that play. They couldn’t even figure out how to get their replay videos to work and in the right spots. What weak coverage quality for a weak game we have tonight.

Finnegan is not hurt. Well maybe his feelings are hurt after Boldin finished abusing him in the first quarter.

I just love Jeff Fisher’s stupidity.

The Rams defense is better for him not being on the field.

As a Titans fan, I like Finnegan. I respect the way (7th rd. draft pick from Samford) and impact that he can have on a team’s defense.

At the same time, I’m happy we didn’t resign him. He is a dude with a tude for sure, but I wouldn’t trust him to shut down top tier WRs in this league.

If Fisher wasn’t jonesing for a vocal veteran, that he was familiar with, to anchor his new team’s D, no chance Finnegan would have gotten that kind of contract.
