San Diego Chargers linebacker Manti Te’o returned to practice last week for the first time since suffering a foot injury in the team’s preseason opener against the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 8.

Te’o was held out and didn’t play against the Tennessee Titans last week, but the Chargers should see their second-round draft pick get on the field this week.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, Te’o is expected to make his NFL debut this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

Te’o has been a full participant in practice the last two days in practice for San Diego. He had been limited all last week before eventually being ruled as doubtful to play against the Titans. Now with a full week of practice under his belt, Te’o is ready to play.
