It took two games and more than 15 minutes of a third, but the 49ers suddenly look like the 49ers again.
The switch flipped when the Niners decided to rely on Frank Gore and Anquan Boldin. Both players had huge roles -- and each scored a touchdown -- in helping the 49ers turn a 3-0 deficit into a 14-3 halftime lead.
Gore has 107 yards on 10 carries, punctuated by a Riggins-esque 34-yard jaunt on fourth and inches with less than a minute in the second quarter. Gore also has runs of 18 yards, 27 yards, and 17 yards.
Boldin has three catches for 69 yards and a touchdown.
The Rams have now trailed by double digits in every game of the 2013 regular season.
