The roller-coaster season for the Colts’ running back corps continues.

Ahmad Bradshaw, who rushed for a season-high 95 yards in the Colts’ Week Three upset of the 49ers, will miss Sunday’s game at Jacksonville with a neck injury. Coach Chuck Pagano disclosed the news at his Friday press conference, according to multiple media outlets, including

Bradshaw missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday the neck injury.

With Bradshaw out, Trent Richardson would seem likely to be the Colts’ featured back Sunday, with Donald Brown in reserve.

The Colts entered the season with Vick Ballard as their starting back, but he suffered a knee injury leading up to the Colts’ second game of the campaign. This led the Colts to trade their 2014 first-round pick to Cleveland for Richardson, the No. 3 overall pick in 2012.

Time for the Richardson break out party.

With Bradshaw out, Indianapolis can showcase how they wasted a first round pick on that Bust Trent Richardson!

The Trent trade sure looks like as much a lucky move as a smart move more and more each day.

Colts are a 9 win team. You don’t get to play Oakland and Jax every week. Your win in SF was an anomoly. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut.

Along with Jacksonville who misses a game every Sunday.

For half a week I questioned if they really needed Richardson, but it’s apparent they do.

Indy fans should attend the game in Jacksonville. I hear they are giving out free beer. It will certainly make Trent Richardson look like his averaging more than 2.7 ypc for you guys!

    T rich 22 carries 77 yards 3.5 average.

Just imagine what sort of numbers bradshaw would have compiled had he not been so susceptible to injuries all of these years. The poor guy just cannot stay healthy.

Jax is a built in bye week for its opponents. Luckily for the AFC South, they get two of these. If were any other game, AB would be playing.

Nice luxury to have a couple of first round draft picks to turn to as your backup RB. I guess.

As a diehard Giants fan I totally appreciate what Bradshaw provided during our 2 most recent Superbowl victories. Now that I’ve got that out the way, Is anyone surprised that Bradshaw is missing a game???LOL He’s the RB equivalent of Bob Sanders!!!

A breakout party 19 games in the making!

I’m guessing it may have happened on that play where, after getting hit, he stood up and did this weird wiggly jig then flopped to his knees and wiggled around some more. It was creepy and kind of gross, obviously not the way you expect to see a healthy person move. I was surprised at the time more was not made of it and he returned to the field shortly thereafter.

big deal – they’re playing jacksonville

Donald Brown could go for a bill against the Baguars. Not a big deal..yet. Bradshaw should be the lead back this season.

I am not trying to hate on T-Rich, but as a Browns fan I can tell you Colts fans to expect “ordinary”. He will not hit the holes, he tip toes to find an open lane, then he gets wrapped up at the line of scrimmage because the holes have closed, then he will fall forward 3 yards carrying 3 guys on his back. This will prompt the announcer to say how tough he is. It was fun to watch for awhile but it gets old. That being said, I hope he has a nice career. The Browns would not have got a 3rd round pick for him if they try and move him after the season.

It started with insecure Washington fans ripping Luck because deep down they knew he was better than RGIII; now similar CLE fans have joined the party trying to say that their former best player is a bust.

I’ll trust Grigson’s talent evaluation – inaugural draft: Luck, Fleener, Allen, Hilton, Chapman, Ballard, Brazill – over some dude plucked off the set of NFL network and the BS Report.

Thanks for Trent and enjoy the late 1st rounder!

  21. war27 says: Sep 27, 2013 2:42 PM

Time for the world to find out he’s not very explosive as an NFL player.

  22. eriewarrior19 says: Sep 27, 2013 2:54 PM

Grigson’s will be downgraded as a talent evaluator and this will be the first step in following polian’s footsteps after T-Rich shows how he threw away a first round pick.

Funny how everybody already has given the Colts a win. Is everybody forgetting the Blaine Gabbert is back and starti…

Sorry, I can’t even type that with a straight face…

Oh well, through thick and thin…go Jags.

  24. jimfix says: Sep 27, 2013 4:00 PM

haha i like how browns fans are experts on how trent richardson’s career will play out after watching him play for ONE SEASON on their crappy team. HE WAS THE BEST PLAYER ON YOUR TEAM TWO WEEKS AGO.

    oh browns.

  25. shackdelrio says: Sep 27, 2013 4:23 PM

You guys are already marking a W down for Indianapolis. You’re forgetting that Blaine “Colt Killer” Gabbert (and his 3-1 record against Indy) is under center this Sunday for the Jags.

  26. remyje says: Sep 27, 2013 5:11 PM

Funny how you never heard people calling Trent Richardson a bust until he gets traded to a decent team. People are so miserable they can’t help it.

  27. jimfix says: Sep 27, 2013 9:36 PM

haha I’m not sure if the 3-1 record Gabbert has against the Colts is a joke or not but beating Curtis Painter twice does not = beating the Colts. Dude is 1-1.
