Glennon won’t have full complement of targets

Saints Buccaneers Football AP

Buccaneers quarterback Mike Glennon wasn’t going to have an easy job anyway.

But things are much more complicated because of injuries that could have him throwing to the kind of targets he was working with when he was the backup.

The Bucs announced that wide receivers Vincent Jackson (rib) and Mike Williams (hamstring) were limited in practice Friday, and would be questionable for Sunday’s game. They will be without tight end Tom Crabtree, who had a setback with his ankle injury and won’t play.

Schiano would not, however, comment on demoted quarterback Josh Freeman’s status. There was a report this morning that he could be deactivated, but Schiano said that decision would be made 90 minutes before kickoff.

If he can throw the ball half as good as his Uncle Rico then it won’t matter who he is throwing to.

Wow. Schiano is handling VERY poorly.

This is a rough way to go out.

People hated on TO and the way he left his team.

But, look how coaches, owners, GM’s are throwing away players like trash. Look at Steve McNair. They locked him out. They can treat players how they want but when it’s the other way around the players are the one’s who get blacklisted and have a tough time finding jobs.
