One of the Cowboys’ key pass catchers appears to have missed a third straight day of practice.
Starting wide receiver Miles Austin, who’s dealing with a hamstring injury, was not present at Friday’s practice, according to multiple reporters, including Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas.
Austin has caught 15 passes for 125 yards in three games for Dallas. He had 10 receptions in the club’s season-opening win against the Giants.
Were Austin out, rookie wideout Terrance Williams could have a bigger role in the passing game on Sunday at San Diego.
At 2-1, the Cowboys are the only NFC East club with a winning record entering Week Four.
