All week, the Texans have been calling wide receiver Andre Johnson a game-time decision because of his shin injury but things have taken a positive turn with the game against the Seahawks a couple of days away.
Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com reports that coach Gary Kubiak said Friday that Johnson had a strong practice and that he expects to have the wideout in the starting lineup.
There was no talk about limiting Johnson’s snaps, so it would appear that the plan is also for him to play a full workload. That should mean matchups with both Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman over the course of the afternoon in Houston.
Left tackle Duane Brown’s outlook isn’t quite as clear. He didn’t practice on Friday after getting in limited work earlier in the week and he’s still being termed a game-time decision. Brown missed last week’s loss to the Ravens with the toe injury that has continued to trouble him this week.
