The Colts punched the clock, did what was necessary, and left with an easy 37-3 win over the Jaguars to improve to 3-1.
Beyond that, they shouldn’t spend all that much time reviewing the film, because the Jaguars offered so little resistance as to skew any analysis.
The Jaguars are a disaster, which we all knew already, but particularly at quarterback. Blaine Gabbert was an awful 17-of-32 for 179 yards with three interceptions. He was also sacked four times, and finished with a 30.6 passer rating which doesn’t really represent how bad he was.
The Colts, on the other hand, had Andrew Luck, who on an off day threw for a pair of touchdowns and 260 yards, while Trent Richardson scored a touchdown and added 60 yards on 20 carries for his new team.
At the end of the day, it’s not worth spending much more time breaking down.
Even Colts owner Jim Irsay felt badly about making hot dog jokes earlier, and felt compelled to give them a good-job, good-effort on his way to the door.
