Glazer: Pryor is out, Flynn is in

Allen

A slow morning suddenly has gotten more interesting.

In the wake of the report from Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle that quarterback Terrelle Pryor will start for the Raiders six days after a concussion, Jay Glazer of FOX reports that Pryor is out and Flynn is in.

Per Glazer, coach Dennis Allen told the team last night that Flynn is in.

Could Allen, whose desire to conceal the Week One was disrupted by a leak to Tafur that Pryor would start over Flynn, be engaged in a little next-level sleight of hand, deliberately engineering a pair of conflicting leaks to confound the Redskins?

All we know for sure at this point is that it will be Pryor or Flynn. Unless Allen has gone next-next-level and it’s all a smokescreen aimed at concealing that the starter will be Matt McGloin.

I’m kidding. Unless that’s what happens.
