Joe Flacco’s fourth interception stops Baltimore rally

The Ravens were down 20-7 at the half, but they cut the Buffalo lead to one score and were driving in the third quarter when Joe Flacco’s bad day reared its head once again.

Flacco was picked off by Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso on a throw that wasn’t hard for the rookie to pick off as it was thrown right at him. Not all of Flacco’s four picks on the day have been as easy for the defenders, but they’ve all been painful. Number four was especially hurtful to the Ravens as the Bills were able to drive the ball downfield for a field goal that extended their lead back to nine points.

It could have been worse for Baltimore as it looked like Buffalo wide receiver Robert Woods caught his second touchdown pass of the game after Alonso’s pick. He was correctly ruled not to have had possession in bounds after review, however, and Buffalo had to settle for a field goal.

Baltimore’s still got a chance to come back in this one, but not if Flacco adds to his interception total.
