Michael Bennett has feeling in extremities

Michael Bennett AP

A frightening-looking injury just before halftime doesn’t appear to be as serious as on first viewing.

Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett was taken off the field on a stretcher late in the first half, and was taken to a nearby hospital in Houston.

He was involved in one side of a collision at Texans quarterback Matt Schaub, and his neck snapped back violently.

But the Seahawks announced he was being evaluated for a lower back injury, and had feeling in all his extremities.

The hit he took is a metaphor for the Seahawks on the road this season. The ultimate pretenders.

Priorities folks. A man is injured with what looked to have an ugly result. Not a Seahawk fan, but I hope he recovers completely.

You know that you are a loser in life when you make jokes about a potentially life changing injury.

Some of you fans cheering injuries are complete tools. There is nothing more to say.
