Seahawks scrambling to find blockers today

Jacksonville Jaguars v Seattle Seahawks Getty Images

The Seahawks already had offensive line problems, with left tackle Russell Okung on IR/designated for return.

Now, they’re missing two more starters against a Texans defense that’s playing well.

The Seahawks deactivated both right tackle Breno Giacomini (knee) and center Max Unger (triceps) against the Texans.

That means the Seahawks will be starting a line including the following household names:  Paul McQuistan, James Carpenter, Lemuel Jeanpierre, J.R. Sweezy and seventh-round rookie Michael Bowie.

So it’s a good thing Russell Wilson can run.

I’ll take an ugly road win today. Hawks still have an elite D/STs…let’s get it done the old fashion way…run, run, run

Bowie will be an upgrade over Giacomini. Tom Cable could turn a group of bartenders into and All Pro offensive line.

Insert RB Christine Michael to catches passes out of the backfield to take pressure off of Wilson.

Still pissed this game isn’t in Seattle. It’s been 8 years and we’ll have to wait at least four more. Was looking forward to making the trip.

We’ll find out if the Seahawks are ready to take th enext step with what they do on th road. I’m thinking they’re going to lose to the Texans and confirm my suspicion that they’re still a Jekyll and Hyde squad from home to road.

Congrats to the Hawks. Nice comeback. I hate to admit it, but you’re looking awfully good this year.

Probably should have waited until the end of the game, huh?
