Seahawks scrambling to find blockers today

Jacksonville Jaguars v Seattle Seahawks

SEATTLE, WA - SEPTEMBER 22: Quarterback Russell Wilson #3 of the Seattle Seahawks gets chased out of the pocket by defensive end Jason Babin #58 of the Jacksonville Jaguars during the third quarter of the game at CenturyLink Field on September 22, 2013 in Seattle, Washington. The Seahawks already had offensive line problems, with left tackle Russell Okung on IR/designated for return.

Now, they’re missing two more starters against a Texans defense that’s playing well.

The Seahawks deactivated both right tackle Breno Giacomini (knee) and center Max Unger (triceps) against the Texans.

That means the Seahawks will be starting a line including the following household names: Paul McQuistan, James Carpenter, Lemuel Jeanpierre, J.R. Sweezy and seventh-round rookie Michael Bowie.

So it’s a good thing Russell Wilson can run.
