Bengals bring in Michael Boley

The Bengals added some depth to their linebacker corps, by adding someone they’ve been thinking about for a while.

PFT has confirmed that the Bengals are adding veteran linebacker Michael Boley.

The 31-year-old linebacker has been out of the game since the Giants released him in February.

The Bengals worked him out in early September, when they were running short at the position.

A Linebacker? Can he get open? Can he pass?

Bengals should pass. Our lbs are the worst I’m nfl history and we brought in Aaron curry before boley. That’s all you need to know

Boley is having some legal issues, which makes him perfect for the Bengals.

We need a LB that can cover Slot and TE’s however I don’t think Boley is it…..I guess Thomas Howard isn’t healthy as he would have been signed….He knows the defense….

Hey Mike Brown, Did you work out the trade for Freeman yet??? You and I both know Andy is not it at QB… John Kitna 2.0 all day…..

He must have an arrest record, just look at the 3 starting LB’s for the Bungals.

    They’re all turds.

No I am not going to pay for 2 starting QB’s. We are keeping noodle arm Dalton until someone offers us a 1st and 2nd rounder. Deal with it (maniacal laughter)

Andy Dalton…….still better than 75% of QB’s in the league. You WISH your QB would take you to 2 (& soon to be 3 straight post- seasons)

Top 5 QB’s in the NFL right now.
    1. Peyton
…….Super Bowls won the last 2 years by these MEGA-QB’s 0!!!!!
    It’s still about 11 on 11 boys!!!!!

    High expectations indeed.

Josh Freeman is far worse than Dalton. I don’t know why anyone would want him over Dalton. Besides that, he’s obviously a locker room cancer. Once he’s unhappy it’s all over. I’m by no means a Dalton defender. I don’t think he has what it takes either. But to say you want Freeman instead is idiotic at best.

    bengalguy is drinkin the kool-aid.

I think most non-homers would prefer any of the following over Dalton:

Brady, Brees, either Manning brother, Rodgers, Luck, Newton, Rivers, Rothlisburger, Flacco, Kapernick, Wilson, Romo, RG3.

You could make arguments he’s even below the likes of Vick, stafford, and even Palmer.

But hey, he’s better than Blaine Gabbart!

Green can’t get open, Ben-Ellis can’t get a yard, our DBs have tight hamstrings, Gruden can’t create mismatches and yes, Dalton is inconsistent. Plenty of blame to share.

  13. bengalguy says: Oct 1, 2013 3:07 PM

    Wilson?? Kapernik??RGKee???? Romo????
Why would I want ANY of those over Dalton? What have they done? Luck, yes . Flacco, probably. But any one else??? Why ???

    2012-wildcard-lost to Houston

So the basis of your argument is a qb who leads a team that has played a total of 120 minutes more than teams who have not made the playoffs the last 2 years?

Boley will play special teams and goal line
