After three straight losses in which they’ve allowed at least 30 points a game, the St. Louis Rams are looking to bring back a familiar face to help solidify their defense.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com, the Rams plan to re-sign linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar on Tuesday after the completion of his four-game suspension for a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy.

Dunbar was released by the Rams before the start of the season. Head coach Jeff Fisher called the suspension for Dunbar “selfish” and St. Louis elected to cut Dunbar instead of keeping him on the reserve/suspended list. However, the Rams didn’t rule out a possible return for Dunbar once his suspension was complete.

Dunbar started all 16 games for the Rams last season and compiled 115 tackles and 4.5 sacks. He also intercepted two passes and forced two fumbles.
