The Baltimore Ravens are set to acquire a former first-round draft pick to add to their depth along the offensive line.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, the Ravens have agreed in principle to a deal, pending a physical, with the Jacksonville Jaguars to acquire offensive tackle Eugene Monroe. The deal will send multiple third-day draft picks (rounds 4-7) to the Jaguars in exchange for Monroe.

Monroe, selected with the eighth overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft by the Jaguars, has started 62 games over the last five seasons for Jacksonville, including the first four games of this season. The Ravens have allowed Joe Flacco to be sacked 10 times already this season, tied with the New Orleans Saints for 10th most in the league through four weeks. Baltimore also is 28th in the league in rushing averaging just 64 yards a game.

Monroe could ultimately be a replacement at left tackle for Bryant McKinnie, who has struggled so far this season for the Ravens.
