Dexter McCluster wins AFC special teams honors

Dexter McCluster now has a bookend, to the award he won his first week as a pro.

The Chiefs return man was named AFC special teams player of the week, his first such honor since Week One of his rookie season.

McCluster’s 89-yard punt return touchdown was the longest in the league this year, and the fourth-longest in Chiefs franchise history (behind the 94-yarder his rookie year which won him the first award).

McCluster has always teased with potential, but there’s a reason he was drafted in the second round, and intrigues coaches with his ability.

The Chiefs are the worst 4-0 team in the history of the NFL.

He should really share this with the would-be Giants tacklers who were falling at his feet as he ran past them.

I have a funny feeling the Giants will be producing several more players of the week (for the other team of course) as the year progresses.

Easy there fellas. Don’t lump all Canadians in the same boat as Joe. One idiot doesn’t represent all of Canada. Besides, even the rest of Canada dislikes people from Toronto.

Hey Trollonto, you mad Bro? I’ll take the worst 4-0 team in history over the best 1-3 team in history.
No one believed me when I said Cassel>Flynn but you are believing it now.

Joe is right. Ok, well maybe he’s not 100% right. I recall the Cardinals being 4-0 last year too. This team seems awfully familair to that one. So maybe The Chiefs are the 2nd worst 4-0 team in NFL history.
