PFT Live: Bills talk with Tim Graham, Coaching hot seat

EJ Manuel, Fred Jackson AP

The Bills held off the Ravens last Sunday for a 23-20 win, evening their record at 2-2 after the first month of the regular season.

They’ll get back on the field Thursday against the Browns and Tim Graham of the Buffalo News will join Mike Florio on Wednesday’s PFT Live for a conversation about Buffalo’s chances in that game. They’ll touch on the chances that injured players like running back C.J. Spiller and safety Jairus Byrd are in the lineup and talk about rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel’s progress during the visit.

Bills talk will be nonexistent during this week’s look at which coaches are on the hot seat. Doug Marrone is four games into his first season and the season would have to take a disastrous turn for there to be any change on the sideline with the Bills in 2013.

The coaching carousel is something that NFL beat-writers seem to enjoy and even add to the fray. By dropping innuendo, they stealthily undermine careers.

No where is this more true than with Coach Schiano. He has become our latest Sam Wyche and they seem to be honing in again on the redoubtable coach of the NY Giants.

Marrone on the hot seat? What utter nonsense!
