Tests on Trevathan’s knee are negative

The Broncos avoided another big loss on defense on Wednesday, but it came after only more than a little sweating.

Linebacker Danny Trevathan, carted off during practice with a knee injury, will be OK.  According to the team, tests conducted on the knee were negative.  Which is always positive.

Trevathan, a sixth-round pick in 2012, has emerged as a starter this season after getting zero starts as a rookie.  The Broncos already are dealing with the departure in free agency of defensive end Elvis Dumervil, the six-game suspension imposed on linebacker Von Miller, and a lingering foot sprain for cornerback Champ Bailey.

This team doesn’t need a defense.

As long as the Broncos D can keep an opponent under 40, they will be just fine.

We would have been fine bc he’s currently playing in Von Miller’s position. But the kid can ball and it’s going to be tough to get him some playin time when Von comes back. He is a fast sure tackler. Glad to see he’s alright

Trevathan’s still going to be starting when von comes back, nate irving’s the one taking von’s spot at the moment with shaun phillips coming in on pass rushing situations. Trevathan’s like the best run stuffer of 4-3 outside linebackers I believe according to PFF so far. Big that he’s ok, he’s very good in coverage too. Underrated guy.

I hope KC can stay undefeated until the Denver game, KC may have a schedule to do it, while it doesn’t seem anyone could beat Denver so they should make it 9-0. I’ll pick Denver over KC but it would still be awesome to see two 9-0 teams meet in November.

This team has looked good against some subpar teams.. Giants,Eagles, and Raiders.. They actually have a very easy schedule but i need to see what they can do against a formidable defense and formidable offenses (Dallas and Indy coming up will tell us more) Down the line the matchups with the chiefs defense will be interesting as well.

Peyton isn’t a spring chicken and watching the few hits he has takenif a team puts a good lick on him i don’t think he is going to make it through unscathed.

Whoever said the 72 fins need to watch out, Yeah its a long season how about you see them against good teams before crowning them.

He dont play like 6th rounder at all. The Kentucky Wildcats should be proud of him and Woodyard. Denvers D hasnt missed Von or Champ. Scary team
