Trevathan carted off during Broncos practice

Trevathan

The Denver defense keeps losing players.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan was carted off during practice. Trevathan has a knee injury.

The 2012 sixth-round pick has become a starter in his second NFL season.

The Broncos already are missing defensive end Elvis Dumervil, linebacker Von Miller, and cornerback Champ Bailey. Miller will be back after the Week Six shredding of the Jaguars; Bailey could return from a sprained foot at any time.

Regardless of the severity of Trevathan’s injury, there’s only one season-ending injury that would end the team’s season.
