Browns fear torn knee ligaments for Brian Hoyer

Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer’s knee injury is a cause for concern in Cleveland.

Hoyer is scheduled for an MRI and the Browns fear he has suffered torn knee ligaments, Alex Flanagan reported on NFL Network.

If that means a torn ACL, Hoyer’s season would be over. If it means a torn MCL, that wouldn’t necessarily cost him his season, but it would likely cause him to miss several weeks.

It’s also possible that the MRI will reveal better news than expected. But Browns fans might need to get used to the idea of Brandon Weeden being their starting quarterback again.
