Bills running back C.J. Spiller is good to go for tonight’s game against the Browns. Bills safety Jairus Byrd is not.

Spiller, who had been listed as questionable with an ankle injury, is active for tonight’s game. Byrd, who was also listed as questionable with a foot injury, is inactive.

For the Browns, quarterback Brandon Weeden is active as the backup behind Brian Hoyer. Weeden initially lost his job to Hoyer because Weeden hurt his thumb, but the fact that Hoyer is still starting even after Weeden is healthy enough to be active suggests that this is Hoyer’s team going forward. Third quarterback Jason Campbell is inactive for the Browns.

In addition to Byrd, the Bills’ other inactives are kicker Dustin Hopkins, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, cornerback Ron Brooks, offensive lineman Sam Young, receiver Marquise Goodwin and tight end Chris Gragg.

In addition to Campbell, the Browns’ inactives are running back Foxxy Whittaker, linebacker Quentin Groves, center Patrick Lewis, tackle Martin Wallace, defensive end Billy Winn and linebacker Jabaal Sheard.
