Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Desmond Bryant was taken by ambulance to a hospital during Thursday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

According to Alex Flanagan of the NFL Network, Bryant left the game because he was experiencing shortness of breath on the Browns’ sidelines. Flanagan said the trip to the hospital was a precautionary measure. The Browns announced that Bryant was taken to Cleveland Clinic.

It’s another key loss for the Browns as starting quarterback Brian Hoyer was also lost to a knee injury in the first quarter.

Bryant had recorded two tackles against the Bills before being forced to leave the game. Bryant has recorded 15 tackles in his first four weeks of the season for Cleveland.
