Last year was a “nice paid vacation to Florida” for Aaron Ross.
This year, his destination is injured reserve.
The Giants announced they placed the 31-year-old cornerback on injured reserve, ending his comeback after a year’s worth of cash-grab in Jacksonville (for which he later apologized for admitting out loud). He started a pair of games this season, but left last week’s loss with a back injury.
The Giants also released center Dallas Reynolds, and activated suspended safety Will Hill and promoted cornerback Charles James from the practice squad.
